Going Solo
„So far my journey with recorded music has put me in a role of a collaborator, rather than a solo artist. Although I have myself written many of the songs that I have recorded and released, I then put them out to the world with various projects that I have been a part of over the years. Since moving to Hawai’i, becoming a mother and taking a multi year break from major performing, I have felt a strong call to focus on my artistry as a soloist. All the while I have been receiving many beautiful songs, chants and mantras from the Universe, holding space for song circles, especially for women, and sharing them further with my local community. I am currently working on a selection of songs in both Polish and English, that may be seen as ‚medicine songs’, in simple arrangements that feature my voice. The first one “Dusza, Ciało, Serce” is due to come out this fall, accompanied by a stunning video shot in the flower fields of Poland. I am looking forward to sharing this song and the ones that will follow, with You and the world.”
