Jazz - Honoring Tradition

Ola’s versatile sound has taken her through the realms of the world of Jazz which she enjoys to enter in performance, collaboration and to draw from as inspiration for her original compositions.

Ola is active as a Jazz singer, sharing standards once sung by the queens: Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan. She has recorded two albums in the style of Jazz. “L.O.V.E” by her Hong Kong band The Sangels features jazz classics for lovers, and “Hope Sweet” by her Melbourne project Blended Generations is a collection of original compositions that Ola wrote and arranged the music to lyrics by an Australian lyricist Roger Price.
